Here at the Mountain View Ranch our mission is to Bond Horses and People Together. Within the horse selling aspect of our business we have further defined our mission to Match the Right Horse with the Right Person so that a lifelong connection is possible.
The relationship between horse and owner is, for many, one that is very important! There is a special bond that happens between the true horse lover and their special 4 legged friend, companion and cohort. Our goal is to discover what you dream of in a horse and what challenges you may face within horse ownership and determine whether we have a horse that fills those needs. We also work with the new partners to develop a support system (if needed) after you leave the Ranch, which greatly aids in a successful transition. It is so sad to see horses passed from owner to owner simply because they were not properly matched. Both parties suffer from the failed relationship, but the horse has little control over what happens next. We want to do as much as we can to create a happy placement for both Horse and Owner.

Leasing
We also lease some of
our horses during the Fall, Winter, and Spring months.
If you aren't too sure about taking on the expense and commitment
of owning a horse - leasing is an excellent option to see what
a horse relationship is all about.
Training
If you already own a
horse and need some help with training, we can help you here
as well. We use natural horsemanship techniques that result
in a quiet, willing and responsive horse. We work with
not only the horse but the rider to insure there is proper understanding
and consistency between rider and horse. Working with both horse
and rider insures a successful relationship after training is
done.
